Day 01 – Negombo City Tour

A Ranfer Travel Sri Lanka tour guide, will await your arrival at the Colombo International Airport (Flight at your own arrangement). Depending on your time of arrival, enjoy a Negombo Tour to discover the Negombo Fishing Village, and other fascinating monuments and churches in the region.

Day 02 – Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage / Sigiriya Rock Fortress

After breakfast travel to Kegalle to discover the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage Tour. Pinnawela is home for nearly 84 young and old Orphaned Elephants of Sri Lanka. Afterwards, proceed to visit Sigiriya, to discover the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is a fascinating World Heritage site dating back to the 5th century. This was KING Kassapa’s palace in the sky and was once a stronghold for the king who sought refuge from his brother. It remains on a 200 meter high rock with magnificent views of the surrounding jungle.

Day 03 – Ancient City Of Anuradhapura / Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, leave the hotel for tour Anuradhapura. Visit Anuradhapura to discover the Classic Anuradhapura Ancient City. Anuradhapura was the First Capital of ancient Lanka and features some of the most historical archaeological treasures in Sri Lanka dating back to the 4th century BC. The city is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site that must not be missed.

Later, enjoy a thrilling 4×4 wheel Safari Tour at Minneriya National Park. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Tank, Minneriya National Park has plenty of scrub and light forest in its 8890 hectares, to provide shelter for its Toque Macaques, Sambar Deer, Leopards and Elephants, just to name a few.

Day 04- Ancient City Of Polonnaruwa / Dambulla Rock Cave

Travel to Polonnaruwa after breakfast, to discover the Ancient Polonnaruwa City Tour. Polonnaruwa was the second Capital of ancient Lanka after Anuradhapura fell and remains one of the best planned archaeological sites in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom’s first rulers. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. En route, visit the Dambulla Rock Cave. Proceed back to Colombo.

Day 05 – Colombo City Tour / Departure

Checkout of your hotel and transfer to Colombo International airport.

Optional: Depending on the flight departure time you can enjoy a Colombo City Tour and maybe even a shopping tour of the city.
