Day 01 – Negombo City Tour
A Ranfer Travels Sri Lanka tour guide will await your arrival at the Colombo International Airport (Flight at your own arrangement). Depending on your time of arrival, enjoy a Negombo Tour to discover the Negombo Fishing Village and other fascinating monuments and churches in the region.
Dinner and overnight stay at Paradise Beach Hotel or similar.
Day 02 – Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage / Dambulla Rock Cave Temple / Sigiriya Rock Fortress
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya via The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage which was established in 1975, and commenced with seven orphans.
Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. The original objective of establishing the orphanage inclined more towards tourism, but soon became a conservation and educational center. With the help of local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawela started a scientific captive-breeding program for elephants. The free movement of the herd enhanced the chances for respective individuals of both sexes to get together and mate. The nearby river played a dominant role in this regard, and in 1984, the first baby of Pinnawela was born. The success story of Pinnawela has drawn the attention of scientists from all over the world. A considerable number of books and research articles on Pinnawela have been published in several languages.
After refreshments, continue journey to Dambulla via Stop at Dambulla Rock Cave Temple tour.
Dambula Cave Temple an acclaimed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its rock paintings and rock temples and is one of the most key sites for Buddhist pilgrims in Sri Lanka.

After Lunch proceed for a Sigiriya Rock Fortress tour.
Sigiriya Rock Castle: Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earthy pigments on plaster.

Day 03 – Ancient City Of Anuradhapura / Minneriya National Park
After Breakfast visit the Anuradhapura ancient City tour.
Anuradhapura was the first capital of Sri Lanka founded in the 4 century BC. It is considered the most extensive and the most important of the ancient cities in the northern region. It served as a capital city of this region for over 1000 years and hence was the residence to many Sri Lankan kings from 377 BC. King Pandukhabhaya first made it a capital, naming it after the constellation Anuradha. He was followed by king Devanampiyatissa (250- 210 BC) in whose reign Buddhism was first introduce to Sri Lanka.
In the evening, enjoy a thrilling 4×4 wheel Safari Tour at Minneriya National Park. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Tank, Minneriya National Park has plenty of scrub and light forest in its 8890 hectares to provide shelter for its toque macaques, sambar deer, leopards and elephants, just to name a few.

Day 04 – Elephant Ride At Habarana
After Breakfast leave for an Elephant Ride Tour at Habarana. Habarana is famous among tourists and locals alike because of the elephant back safari rides to the nearby Habarana National Park which has a huge population of Elephants. And unlike in most natural parks in Sri Lanka Elephants here are not that used to humans and visitors can enjoy a less commercialized wildlife experience.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure at the hotel.

Day 05 – Matale Spice Gardens
After a leisurely breakfast proceed to Kandy via Matale Spice Gardens.
Matale Spice Garden tour: Visit a piece garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Here, clients could see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed. If you are lucky we can witness a Cookery demonstration.
Check in to your hotel in Kandy and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 06 – Kandy City Tour
After breakfast enjoy a Kandy City tour: The Last Capital of Sri Lanka Kandy was home to many of Lanka’s great kings which is today a World Heritage Site. The name “Kandy” conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still fondly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the town and a bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.
You will have plenty of time to explore and shop in many of Kandy’s busy sidewalks and alley ways. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy followed by a Traditional Cultural show.

Day 07 – Royal Botanical Gardens
After breakfast visit the Royal Peradeniya Botanical Gardens Tour in Kandy.
The Royal Botanical Gardens was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, Plants & flowers. Most amazing the oldest Tea Tree. Thereafter Visit the Gem museum, Arts & Crafts Centre, and Silk Factory. Enjoy the evening at leisure.
Optional – Enjoy a round of Golf at the 18 hole Victoria Golfing Rang in Digana.

Day 08 – Nuwara Eliya City Tour
After Breakfast, travel to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit the factory and tea plantation for tasting some of the finest blends of tea in the world.
Enjoy a Nuwara Eliya city tour. Because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing a significant share of the world best tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara-Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

Day 09 – Horton Plains / Worlds End / Nuwara Eliya
Travel after breakfast to discover the legendary Horton Plains. Horton Plains is one of the most popular and is a unique natural attraction in Sri Lanka. It is located 2000m high plateau 28km south of Nuwara Eliya and its known for its beautiful landscapes, rare plants, animal life and World’s End where the plains comes suddenly to an end and Baker’s falls.

Day 10 – Beruwala
After breakfast travel to Beruwela the popular beach destination on the South coast of Sri Lanka via Kitulgala. The Kelani River (the broadest river in Sri Lanka) flowing through Kitulgala and was the main location where the Oscar winning movie ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai’ was filmed On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was recently discovered containing large middens of shells from some unknown civilization. We will stop for lunch at this scenic region.

Day 11 – 13 – Day Out At The Beach
Enjoy these days at leisure on the golden sandy beaches of Beruwala. Optional – Day Excursion to Galle tour and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery tour.

Day 14 – Colombo City Tour
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and travel to Colombo.
Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar – where one can shop for bargains, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. (BMICH)- An outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China.
In the afternoon enjoy a Shopping Tour by visiting some of Colombo’s most popular shopping destinations.

Day 15 – Departure
Checkout of your hotel and transfer to Colombo International airport. Your tour of Sri Lanka ends here. Have a nice flight and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
