Day 01

The local tour guide will await your arrival at the Colombo International Airport (Flight at your own arrangement). We leave to Kandy, enroute we stop at a Pineapple garden to enjoy the art of cultivating one of Asias most sweetest fruits. After this visit we proceed to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. (Timings: 9:15 the Baby Elephants are fed milk, 10am the Elephants march to the river for their daily bath). Proceed to Kandy, and visit the Temple of the Tooth, we visit the Gem Museum, Batic Factory and enjoy a Kandyan Cultural Dance performance by night. Dinner and overnight stay at The Kandy House or similar.

Day 02

After breakfast we visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, is the ancient royal pleasure garden renowned for the collection more than 300 varieties of Orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palms trees attach it is the National Herbarium. Drive to Ramboda waterfalls, which is 109m high and the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya sightseeing the city and Lake Area of this picturesque hill town. Dinner and overnight stay at Hill Club, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03

After breakfast we leaving for the Nanu Oya rail station, we will take the train to Ella where you can enjoy a scenic Sri Lanka Train Ride Tour. Ella is a beautiful small sleepy town on the southern edge of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country. It’s situated in the middle of beautiful countryside, with small vegetable plots in the valleys, tea plantations on the hill slopes and forests on the tops. You can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the hill country. Optional: If time permits we will visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens which offers unique fauna and flora of the region. Dinner and Overnight stay at Grand Elle Motel or similar.

Day 04

After breakfast we drive to the Ella waterfalls, a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in high and cascade from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. After we visit the waterfalls we precede to Tissamaharama (Tissa), In the afternoon around 2:30 enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari in the Yala National Park. Elephants are the most often-spotted inhabitants of the Yala National Park in the southeast of Sri Lanka, east of Matara, but they share the reserve with 130 different species of birds and other creatures like sambhur, spotted deer, sloths, crocodiles, monkeys, wild boar and porcupines. The park also record the highest density of Leopard population in the world. Dinner and overnight stay at The Wild, Yala or similar.

Day 05

After breakfast we will proceed to Hambanthota, Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by Europeans in South and Southeast Asia. The Galle fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by the European occupiers. In Galle we will visit the Dutch Fort, Galle Museum, an old Dutch Church and the British Church. There after we proceed to see the legendary Stilt Fishermen. We then head to Hikkaduwa and visit the Kosgoda’s Marine Turtle hatchery – a valuable conservation project that protects the endangered Marine Turtles of Sri Lanka. Globally, all seven species of marine turtles existing are endangered. Out of these seven, five species of sea turtles come ashore to nest in Sri Lanka. Transfer to Colombo International airport. Your tour of Sri Lanka end here. Have a nice flight and we forward to seeing you again soon. Note: Hotel stipulates checkout is before 12:00hrs noon time. Late Checkout between 12:00-18:00 requires half of the room rate. Any checkout after 18:00 will cost one extra night room rate.
