Things to do in Ella Sri Lanka

Things to do in Ella Sri Lanka

There’s much more than tea brewing in the hills of Sri Lanka Set on the southeastern edge of Uva Province, ELLA is one of the hill country’s most appealing destinations. This is the closest thing to an English country village you’ll find in Sri Lanka, enjoying a pleasantly temperate climate and surrounded by idyllic green hills blanketed in tea plantations and offering some good walking, as well as one of the finest views in Sri Lanka. Not Only that ella is very popular history related king of Rawana.

There’s not much to Ella village itself. Ella still has reams of mountain range for you to lose yourself in. The rumbling Ravana Falls are sight worthy of any bucket list; named after a legendary Hindu King who kidnapped a princess and concealed her in a cave behind the gushing waters. Ella Gap are its two most prominent natural features – the imposing but unimaginatively named Ella Rock on the right and Little Adam’s Peak on the left. This 1,300-metre-high cliff is reached via an adventurous two-hour walk along a railway track, which cuts through various tea plantations. Blue arrows drawn on rocks lead the way to the peak, where intrepid hikers will be rewarded with unimaginable views over Badulla’s emerald valleys and the plains below.

Other thing is the Nine Arches Bridge. It is very best place to take some beautiful picture. Nine Arches bridge is very popular place on tourist and local visitors .There are more beautiful place and an attractive scatter of cottages and bungalows. Very most popular place is 98 acres resort in ella. It is in near to Little Adam’s Peak.

Ella’s potential for adventure sports is being increasingly recognized and thrill seekers will find a range of activities such as paragliding, canoeing, camping and rock climbing on offer. This is y one of the most underrated destinations in Sri Lanka and well worth a visit.

What our Explorers have to say about us

"We had an amazing vacation in Sri Lanka, with Chandi as our personal guide throughout. Chandi was very courteous and well informed on not just the history of the island, but also really interesting facts, which he shared with us. He even joined our crew on the white water rafting! Great fun and lots of laughter.... we'd love to visit again."

"Earlier this month we spent 11 days in Sri Lanka on our own private tour arranged through Ranfer Travels. It was definitely the easiest way to do things, as Mr Chandana arranged everything for us before the trip, from itinerary to accommodation and transport. Our guide for the whole trip was Mr Udesh, who was so knowledgeable about everything in Sri Lanka. This includes the ancient history, the culture, the religion, agriculture, foods, sports - everything! He was more than happy to share his knowledge with us, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. We crammed a lot into our trip, and it simply wouldn't have been possible to do or see as much, if it wasn't for the help of Ranfer travels. So if you're thinking of doing a tour in Sri Lanka, I would really recommend speaking to Ranfer Travels!. "

"We recently had an 8 night stay with friends and were Ranfer travels cam as a recommendation to us. Their service was really amazing and Chadana and his team took really good care of us throughout the trip, always checking in on the trip and how we were doing. One of our travelling party had a birthday during the trip and they went out of the way to organise cakes and champagne. Would highly recommend Ranfer, Chadana and his team!! Thank you for an amazing trip!!! And the lifetime of memories"
