I’m sure most travelers may have varied experiences of what they felt and experienced on their first arrival into Sri Lanka’s International airport. I really want to keep this topic open and would love to hear from travelers in regards to this one.
I feel the first thing you would feel is the warm humidity. This blows in the second the airhost opens the door of the aircraft.
Make sure you wear clothing that can be removed easily (including a pair of slippers or sandals if you are travelling with runners or anything warmer). I remember arriving from Melbourne during peak winter and I have traveler with socks and runners and a warm long sleeved top with jeans! The flight was fine and I was comfortable
